Will B. has been a Dodgers fan since he was a kid in Elephant Bar with his parents – watching the crowd around the bar, all wearing red, the white towels after the win – the excitement and energy in the air solidified his love of baseball. Throwing out the first pitch at three stadiums including his favorite team’s, and winning it all for a $3 contest entry, was truly thrilling for Will.
Q Give us a play-by-play of your experience? Did you travel from far? What was your favorite part of your experience?
A Traveled on May 19th to San Francisco from Los Angeles had batting practice at AT&T Park on May 20th. Then May 21st traveled to San Diego from San Francisco. Threw out the first pitch at Petco Park. On May 22nd flew back home to Los Angeles took the day off. Then on Monday May 23rd drove to Dodger stadium and threw out the first pitch. Crazy weekend. I felt like a ball player on the road. My favorite part had to be having batting practice on an actual baseball field. It was great running and hitting on that field.
